Overview

One of the most successful investment strategies currently employed in the UK, is the buying up of older properties with houses on them, doing renovations and increasing the number of inclusive bedrooms, ostensibly for student accommodation. In addition, a survey by Knight Frank, revealed that Sheffield was the fastest growing city outside of London for office, residential and rental space during the second half of 2004.Some £ 250 million was invested in the City during 2005.
